About the Course

Martyn's Law, the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025, will require many venues and events across the UK to be prepared for a terrorist attack. This free course helps you work out whether your premises or events are in scope, which tier applies and what the duties will involve, so that you can use the time before they start wisely. It is written by a lead auditor with more than 20 years' experience in compliance and the security industry, and it is up to date as at September 2026. There are four short modules, each with a slide deck, a downloadable handout and a 10-question quiz, followed by a 20-question Final Assessment. Achieve 75% or more in the Final Assessment to receive your Certificate of Completion. This course is independent awareness training and is not endorsed by the Home Office or the Security Industry Authority.
